In the beginning, he manufactured farmer tools such as wheelbarrows, milking stools, wooden cabins and folding trailers.
In 1932, Johannes van Eck and one of his four sons switched from the farmer wagons to cabins and loading platforms on A and T Fords.

In December 1995, van Opijnen from Deventer asked Van Eck to build a never before made trailer with an extreme internal height of 3485 mm. The resulting trailer for Ten Kate Flowers to carry palm trees upright is the first mile stone in Van Eck’s now industry standard Twindeck Trailers.
