In 1912, Johannes van Eck started a bodywork company at Kortenhoevenseweg in Lexmond.
In the beginning, he manufactured farmer tools such as wheelbarrows, milking stools,
wooden cabins and folding trailers.
In 1932, Johannes van Eck and one of his four sons switched from the farmer wagons to
cabins and loading platforms on A and T Fords.
Minibus production began.
After a fire in 1961, the company moved across the road of Kortenhoevenseweg
First Reefer Box production started
The first compression semi-trailer for transporting polyether foam is developed,
offering 250% more volume
Started with the in-house chassis production for semi-trailer and trailer,
with the brand name, EVER.
The brand EVER comes from “everzwijn” that means a wild boar and the logo of
the village Lexmond was this wild boar.
Dedication to customers with best quality, a simple shed grewn into a huge company.

In December 1995, van Opijnen from Deventer asked Van Eck to build a never before made trailer with an extreme internal height of 3485 mm. The resulting trailer for Ten Kate Flowers to carry palm trees upright is the first mile stone in Van Eck’s now industry standard Twindeck Trailers.
